Josh joined the NSWFB (FRNSW) in 1996 and is Manager of Natural Disaster and Humanitarian capability.
Less than a year after passing out as a recruit firefighter Josh attended his first Police and Firefighter games in Calgary and has been a member of the Sports (Council) Association committee ever since. Since then has travel to the US, New Zealand, China and locally to Perth and Adelaide representing FRNSW in sporting competitions.
Josh also holds the role of President of the FRNSW Rugby League Club and enjoys bringing his passion of the game and outside experiences of Rugby League as a Player, Coach and Manager back to this club.
His motivation for building the capacity of the sports association is bringing the passion and pride people have as being both a firefighter and sports lover / competitor together. ‘Nothing beats watching someone experience the attending of a games for the first time’.
