Club History

The FRNSW Lawn Bowls Club was established in the early 1980’s and currently has approximately 150 members. It does not charge annual fees so the only cost is the entry fee for each event at the State Titles. They are generally held in the 2^nd week of October at Port Stephens or Port Macquarie. Over 80 bowlers participate each year and the Championships includes Fours, Triples, Pairs and Singles.

CURRENT

The Club is also involved in the Australasian Fire Services Championship played approximately every 18 months with players from all different states and Territories plus New Zealand.

Bowls is also contested at the Police & Emergency Services Games

Membership is open to all Permanent, Retained firefighters, current or retired or their partners or immediate family members.
