New South Wales Fire Brigades Golf Club

Fire and Rescue NSW Golf Club (FRNSWGC) is a Social Golf Club, registered through Golf Australia, comprising of firefighters, their family members, and friends.

We welcome golfers of all abilities to join and enjoy either a social or competition round with the FRNSWGC.

FRNSWGC currently play monthly events throughout Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong, as well as interstate matches with the ACT Firefighters Golf Club.

Being a registered Golf NSW affiliate our club members can acquire a Golf Link number and maintain an official Golf Australia Handicap which is managed by the club. By joining, members can play in official competitions across NSW.

In 1977, the then NSWFB Golf Club attended the first Australasian Fire Brigades Golf Championships in Melbourne where our team of 6 were successful taking out the overall championships and have been successful on 7 other occasions since.

FRNSWGC are proud to continue our support of the Australasian Fire Brigades Golf Championship event which is hosted by a different State or Territory Fire Service yearly across Australia and New Zealand.  All members of FRNSWGC are invited to attend this event with 6 members selected to represent FRNSWGC in the team’s event, based on performances throughout the FRNSW Golf season.

The FRNSW Golf Club is affiliated with the FRNSW Sports Association, as such it is the recognised Golf Club within the service. We are governed by a constitution and election of Officers and Committee every year, normally at the AGM which is held after the last game.
